Emphasizing the 3 to 1 player to coach ratio, our coaches will utilize their playing and coaching experiences in order to bring extreme professionalism to the Full Time Program.  All coaches will share court time duties as well as management, traveling, and administrative duties.  The coaching staff will keep things fresh and push the players very hard physically and mentally.  Ultimately, due to the quality of the coaching staff and the meticulous structuring of daily activities, the players are guaranteed to leave the program a better competitor.

Fustar co founded the Eagle Fustar Tennis program in 2002 alongside Brian Eagle with a mission to develop elite junior tennis players in Northern California by providing them the most professional and structured training possible. Fustar has helped grow Eagle Fustar to be the premier program in the Bay Area. Fustar had tremendous success as a Northern California junior and a collegiate player at Fresno State. Fustar was ranked #1 in the 16’s and 18’s in Norcal and as high as #4 in the Nation in the 16’s. He traveled Europe with the USTA National team. As a collegiate player, Fustar achieved a high National ranking of 70 in singles and 23 in doubles. He played #1 Singles and Doubles at Fresno State his senior year. Fustar was also an ATP world ranked player who traveled extensively through Europe and South America. Fustar has worked with several professional tennis players in the past. These include Mario Ancic (top 10 ATP) and Nick Rainey (top 150 ATP). Currently, Fustar is working with touring professional Michael McClune and has helped Michael reach a career high ranking of 265 (and counting). Fustar is also working with top Nationally and Internationally ranked junior Eric Johnson. Within EF, Fustar is heavily involved in the HPC clinics as well as the Advanced HPC clinics. In addition, Fustar is the General Manager of the Full Time program which includes all aspects of the operation on court and off of the court.

Greg Shearer

Greg Shearer

FTP Head Coach and Strength & Conditioning Coach/Lead Coach

Greg Shearer was a top ranked junior in New Zealand. He played his collegiate tennis at Fresno State playing #1 singles and doubles. He transferred to Baylor University for his Senior year, in which his team was ranked #1 in the country and went 33-1, losing in the NCAA Division I final. Internationally, Greg played 4 seasons of professional club tennis in Germany and many international junior tournaments. After graduating from Baylor with a Masters Degree in Sports Management, Greg traveled with several top 150 WTA players and top 50 ITF juniors. He comes to Eagle Fustar in 2010 after working at Weil Tennis academy where he trained and traveled with their Junior ITF team. Greg is primarily working with the Full Time Program as a Junior Development Head Coach and Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Petar Racic

Petar Racic

Tennis Professional/Lead Coach

Petar is originally from Serbia where he successfully competed as a junior. After being certified by the Serbian Tennis Federation in 1993, he continued coaching and developing numerous top juniors and NCAA Division I players. In 2004 Petar came to US to continue his coaching career at Weil Tennis Academy where he worked as a Head Coach and Summer Camp Director, working and traveling with nationally and internationally ranked juniors from all over the world. As of 2011, Petar brings 19 years of coaching experience and great energy to Eagle Fustar. His coaching philosophy is based on approaching each player individually, developing individual game styles and sets of skills as foundation of their game. 2011 is Petar’s first year at Eagle Fustar. Petar is a certified PTR Professional.

Marco Foelz

Marco Foelz

Marco graduated from Fresno Pacific University School of Business with a M.A. in Global Marketing Management in 2009. Prior, he received his B.A. in Management and Marketing from Fresno Pacific University. As a collegiate player, Marco played for the Fresno Pacific University Sunbirds, where he won the State Championships in 2008 and 2009, and the National Championships in 2009. Marco was also the recipient of the prestigious “Champion of Character Award” for four years in a row.  Marco successfully played numerous open prize money tournaments on all surfaces around Europe before becoming a college player in 2005. He played professional club tennis in Germany for several years and won the divisional championships in 2009 playing #1 singles and #1 doubles for his team. Marco brings many years of coaching experience to Eagle Fustar. He has been coaching private lessons and groups ever since he received his coaching license in Germany in 2000. He has been a head coach at two tennis clubs in Germany before becoming a college tennis player. Marco is a certified coach at the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) on the Professional Level (highest level). After coaching part-time for Eagle Fustar Tennis Academy in 2004, 2005, and 2008, Marco has been a  full-time coach at Eagle Fustar since 2009. Marco will be at the Full Time Program, Advanced Clinics, High Performance Clinics, and will also be available for Private Lessons.

Dariusz Linette

Dariusz Linette

Tennis Professional

Dariusz Linette brings with him over 36 years of tennis background as of 2012. 20 of those years have been dedicated to developing and training high performance juniors in the US and Europe.

His keen eye for technique and his ability to translate his expertise to the player, has resulted in his ability to take talent to the next level.

He brings a broad based background of developing young players, both physically and mentally, which has resulted him to be a highly requested coach in all the areas that he has coached.

He was the #1 ranked Junior Player in Poland and played as top ranked seeded player with the Poland National Team before ending his competitive carrier in 1990.

Jakub Cech

Jakub Cech

Jakub played collegiate tennis for Fresno State where he played no. 1 singles since his sophomore year. During his college career, he was ranked among top 30 in NCAA Division I singles and he competed in both individual and team NCAA Championship tournaments. In addition to his collegiate career, Jakub played professionally on the ITF/ATP circuit where he was ranked both in singles and doubles. While competing, he played tournaments in Europe, Africa as well as in the United States. After completing his degree in International Business at Fresno State, Jakub joined the Santa Clara Broncos men’s tennis team as an assistant coach. While coaching, he was also attending classes at SCU’s graduate business school. After receiving his MBA degree from Santa Clara University, Jakub joined Eagle Fustar. He brings four years of collegiate coaching experience that he gained while coaching the Broncos men’s tennis players from all over the world. During his tenure at SCU, the team was nationally ranked as high as 29 in Division I and competed in the NCAA Division I Championships.

Saucedo Sport Psychology Consulting and Eagle Fustar Tennis Academy are pleased to announce a new strategic partnership in which Sport Psychology Consulting will become the exclusive mental toughness partner for Eagle Fustar. Serving the greater Bay Area, Saucedo Sport Psychology Consulting works with athletes to enhance mental toughness in their sports.

Saucedo Sport Psychology Consulting is a private practice run by Adam Saucedo, M.A. He currently provides consulting services with all types of athletes, at various levels of competition. In particular, he works with five of the athletic programs at Santa Clara University, including the Men’s and Women’s tennis programs. His work includes both team and individual athlete consulting.

Adam Saucedo is excited to become partners with Eagle Fustar. He believes that mental toughness training is the key to a consistently high-level of performance.  He agrees that mental training is an important component in an athlete’s training. His work is best described in his motto, which reads, “Aligning mental and physical training!”

Saucedo Sport Psychology Consulting will be used by the Eagle Fustar Full Time Program every week.  Adam is also available for one-on-one sessions in order to work on individual training needs in a private setting.
